I'm also not crazy about giving anyone a lot of information about myself. What does See's do with the information it receives when I place an order? I want to place orders for several friends. How do I place several orders to different recipients?
    It’s Simple! Shop for one recipient at a time as you go through the ordering process. Our site will remember all of your billing information and recall it for you each time you click "Click here to continue shopping" and shop for another recipient.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
    It is best to allow See’s Candy kitchens 24 hours to process and prepare your order for shipping. After that your order should arrive at its destination in three to five days (*see next item for shipping during warm weather). Because we guarantee that your order will arrive in perfect condition we use priority shipping services that ensure timely delivery and delivery confirmation. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday, except holidays. Please provide an address where someone will be available to receive the shipment. You may also use our "Future Delivery Date" option to order your gifts early. We will make every effort to be sure that they will arrive on or just before the date you specify.

Can See's ship my chocolate order during the warm Summer months? What is the Customer Address Book?
    The Customer Address Book on Sees.com allows you to store names and addresses for the people you wish to ship candy, as well as your own billing address. Once you have entered a name and address into the Address Book you can quickly select it whenever you wish to send candy to that individual. This will save you a lot of time in the Checkout process for those individuals you send to often.

How do I access the Address Book?
    The Address Book is available within the Checkout process. Once you started the Checkout process and have entered your email address and account information, your address book will be displayed. This page will allow you to modify existing name and address information, as well as enter new information.

How do I ship candy to myself?
    On the "Tell us who to ship to" page your Address Book will be displayed. If this is the first time you have used this function only your original billing address will be displayed. If you wish to send candy to yourself at this address, simply select the "Ship to this address" button immediately above your address.

Can I ship candy to myself at a different address?
    Yes, you can ship candy to yourself at an address different from your billing address. If your desired address is not contained in your address book, select the "New ship to address" button. This will display a page where you can enter your name and your desired shipping address. Once you have entered your address information, select the "Continue" button. This will bring you back to your Address Book. You will notice that your new shipping information is now displayed in the Address Book. To ship this order to that address, simply select the "Ship to this address" button immediately above your name and the desired shipping information entry.

How do I send candy to someone other than myself?
    After you have entered your billing information during the Checkout process your Address Book will be displayed. If the name and address of the person you wish to ship to is stored in the Address Book select the "Ship to this address" button immediately above that name and address.

    If the name and address of the person you wish to ship to is not stored within your Address Book, select the "New ship to address" button. This action will display a page where you can enter the name and address of your recipient. When you are finished, select the "Continue" button to take you back to your Address Book. Your new recipient's name and address will now be displayed within your Address Book. To ship this order to this individual, select the "Ship to this address" button immediately above their name and address.

Can I ship candy to more than one address when I place my order online?
    Yes! You can save even more time if you have already:
      *     opened a See's account, and
    *     added all your recipients' addresses into your Address Book.
     
    1. Shop as usual, adding all gifts to your shopping bag, and click Checkout when you're done.
    2. Verify your name and billing address information and click Continue.
    3. You'll see the Shipping screen. Click Ship to Multiple Addresses. Each item in your shopping bag appears on a separate line, followed by the quantity and a drop-down list. The drop-down list contains the name of each person in your Address Book.
    4. Click the down arrow of the drop-down list to see all the names. Double-check that all the recipients you need to send items to are on this list. (Note: If you need to add more people to the list, click New Ship To Address, fill out the address form, then click Continue.)
    5. Select the recipient for each item (or items) in your bag until all items have been assigned to the correct recipients. When all the items have been correctly assigned, click Continue.
    6. Now choose delivery dates for each recipient. Different recipients can have different delivery dates. Once you have selected dates for each, click Continue.
    7. This is the Preferences page. Here you will:
    *      choose your greeting for each recipient,
    *      select the shipping method, and
    *      enter your payment information. After completing this page, click Continue.
    8. This is the Confirmation page. After you have confirmed that all your order details are correct, click Place Order to finalize your purchase.

How do I check the status of an order I have already placed?
    You can check the status of an existing order by selecting the "My Orders" text located at the top of the Sees.com home page. Once selected, you will be asked to enter your email address and password. This must be the same email account you entered during the Checkout process. All of the orders entered for this account will be displayed.

    The order status page lists a summary of each order, including the order number, the order and shipping dates, the recipient and status of the order. If the order has been shipped, the status will show as "Shipped" and the applicable tracking number will be shown, if available. If an order has not yet shipped, the status will be shown as "Processing".

What's the best way to store See's candy after I receive my order?
    We recommend storing the candy at 60º to 70º F and consuming the candy within approximately 3-4 weeks after purchase.

Are any of See's candies Kosher certified?
    We do have some items that are Kosher certified. Please try our lollypops, Little Pops, and our holiday Chanukah items. Please note the "Kosher Certified" notation on our web catalog pages to identify these items or download our Kosher Certified Letter which lists all of our Kosher products.

What's the most popular chocolate piece made by See's? How can I order the Mincemeat piece?
    Due to the unavailability of key ingredients, we will not be offering our mincemeat piece this season. We do hope to offer this piece next year. We apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may have caused.

Why has See's Candies introduced Sugar Free Candy?
    Customers have been requesting See's Sugar Free candies for years. After extensive research and product testing, we are proud to offer the only Sugar Free candy good enough to be called See's.

What makes these products "Sugar Free"?
    See's Sugar Free products meet the FDA regulations for Sugar Free candies, which can contain 0.5 grams or less of sugar per serving. Our products contain sugar substitutes like Maltitol (a sugar alcohol), Sucralose (a high intensity sweetener), and Polydextrose (a bulking agent) instead of sugar.

What are sugar alcohols, high intensity sweeteners and bulking agents?
    · Sugar alcohols are sugar substitutes used to take the place of sugar to make Sugar Free candy. Sugar alcohols provide a sweet taste. Sugar alcohols are digested more slowly than sugar; generally producing a relatively small rise in blood sugar levels after eating.
    · High intensity sweeteners are artificial substances that are many times sweeter than sugar.
    · Bulking agents are substances that have no nutritional value and are used to occupy volume.

Why isn't See's Sugar Free candy called Sugar Free Chocolate?
    The FDA maintains "standards of identity" for every product. The standard of identity for chocolate includes sugar. Since our new Sugar Free products are "sugar-free," we cannot use the term chocolate when selling this product.

Can I order a special pack combining both Sugar Free candy and See's traditional candy?
    No. Due to labeling requirements, Sugar-Free candies and traditional candies cannot be combined into one box. These two items must be sold separately.

Do sugar substitutes have any digestive side effects?
    One of the reasons that sugar substitutes are lower in calories and carbohydrates compared to sugar is that they are digested and absorbed in a different way. In the process of digesting sugar substitutes, some digestive side effects can occur that have a laxative effect.

Does See's Sugar Free candy carry any warning labels or information statements?
    Yes, to be in compliance with labeling regulations for sugar free products a warning label appears on our packaging cautioning of a potential laxative effect due to the presence of sugar alcohol, high intensity sweetener and bulking agents in our products.

Can I include a personalized greeting card with my order?
    You can make your gift even better with a personalized greeting card. The greeting card order screens allow you to select and personalize a greeting card that will arrive with the gift. Your card will show a personal message that you will write in a special message area.

    When checking out, your retail order will show the charges for any cards you ordered. You may order more than one card per order, but you should order only one card per gift recipient address. The cost for each personalized greeting card is $2.95.

What about card quality?
    The cards we offer are quality designs from established card designers and publishers. These are the same designs that these publishers sell in retail stores. The cards are printed on premium card stock using a printing process that consistently delivers high-quality results. You can make your message stand out by using an appealing font style, size and color. Your personalized message will appear on the finished card.

How do I add a card to my order?
    Placing a card order is easy:

    1. During the Checkout process after entering payment and shipping information, select the Personalize your Greeting Card option. To view all available cards, select the "View All Cards" text and proceed to step 2 below. If you wish to send the card featured as Our Best Seller, select "Send This Card" and proceed to step 4 below.

    2. You can find a card for just about any Event, Occasion, or Sentiment in the list on the left side of the first card selection screen. Click on any of the categories listed to view available cards. Many of the categories are organized into types of Recipients, such as a Birthday card for Mother, Father...etc., Click on the "+" symbol displayed to the left of the category name to find an additional list of cards for specific Recipients. 3. Select a card from those displayed on the screen. You can view a larger picture of each card by moving the cursor over the card image. In some categories there may be more cards than what is shown on the page. You may page through the cards using the links image displayed on the right side of the screen above the top row of cards. Select the card you want to order by clicking on the card or the button.

    4. Personalize the card with your message. Type personal messages in the text boxes. You can choose a distinctive Font, Style, Size, and Color from the drop down lists above each text box. The upper text box area is for the message that prints on the inside left of the card. Depending on the Font and Size selected, you can type up to a 15 line message. The lower text box area is for the message that prints on the bottom right of the card. Depending on the Font and Size selected you can type up to an 8 line message.

    Be sure to check your spelling. The default language is English.

    You also check spelling in Spanish from the drop down list. To check your Spelling click on .

    5. When you are done entering your messages you can see what the finished card will look like by clicking, click . The Preview page displays the text you entered. This is exactly how the card will look when it is printed. If you are happy with your messages, click to place the order. If you want to change your message, click to return to the edit message page.

    When you have finished the card, click to place your card order, the card order screen closes and returns to the Checkout process. Your gift order will ship with your personalized greeting card.

    At any time you may click , and the card order window will close, bringing you back to your retailer's order screen.
