Direct Marketing Manager
Location: Carson (between Los Angeles and Orange Counties), California
To effectively create, manage, execute and report on See’s Direct Marketing activities, including catalog, email, online, and Search Engine Optimization/Pay Per Click, and mailings. Analyze and report traffic and sales from FSI/ADVO drops, and similar affiliate direct marketing initiatives. Responsible for execution of approved marketing initiatives based on assigned business goals and ROI targets; and achievement of assigned marketing goals. Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): • Develop, manage and supervise execution of all active and planned Direct Marketing activities across See’s Mail Order and Quantity Discount/Fund Raising business channels. Manages direct marketing staff, including training, development and performance management. • Create an integrated, solution oriented marketing plan and calendar covering Mail Order and direct Quantity Discount/Fund Raising sales channels. • Manage Direct Marketing vendor relationships including acting as primary contact for day-to-day activities, projects, work orders, contract, billing and budget responsibilities. • Responsible for the full cycle of all Direct Marketing activities including email marketing, natural and paid search, affiliate marketing, catalog development and circulation planning, mailings, and other direct marketing initiatives. • Advise executive management of possible Direct Marketing opportunities • Develop Direct Marketing campaigns in alignment with Mail Order and Quantity Discount marketing activities and business goals assigned to the Direct Marketing group, assuring a return on investment that is consistent with specified guidelines • Generate new business, and retain existing business in a cost effective manner • Provide detailed and executive level reporting on Direct Marketing activities including results of each campaign, goal attainment, and return on investment as needed (monthly/quarterly/annually). • Develop and manage annual Direct Marketing budget. Work within established guidelines to achieve assigned goals. Minimum Qualifications: • Five years Direct Marketing management experience including email/ecommerce, catalogs, direct mail, with full P & L responsibility. • Proven ability to increase sales and profit; demonstrated analytic, problem solving and decision making skills. • Proven strategic leadership skills, including development and retention of a professional staff to support direct marketing activities. • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. • Business or Marketing degree required; MBA preferred.
Web Development Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position is responsible for the technical and operational management of See’s e-Commerce and intranet systems.
This is a hands-on role and we are looking for someone with a solid background in eCommerce and ColdFusion.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage See’s eCommerce and intranet systems throughout its lifecycle including planning, design, development, quality assurance, roll-out, and post live technical analysis.
2. Work with a cross-functional team to translate business requirements into functional specifications for the programming group and/or external vendor.
3. Ensure See’s eCommerce platform is designed for high availability, performance and security including load testing and security scanning.
4. Responsible for maintaining 24x7 ecommerce monitoring and immediate response to issues that affect revenue or customer service.
5. Responsible for maintaining high quality on-going support for web customer issues requiring a technical response.
6. Staff development and management of web developers.
7. Work with business management to secure resources needed to accomplish assigned project goals. Defines roles and responsibilities, including MIS programming and operations staff, business involvement, contractors, consultants and vendors.
8. Manages cross-departmental web development team, individual contributors, technical vendors and project schedules including assignment of individual responsibilities, regular status meetings, and coaching to attain project goals.
9. Provides MIS and business management with regular status updates including changes of significant consequence to the scope or schedule.
10. Provides training and documentation as required.
11. Participate in coding, testing and implementation as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. At least five years experience as a hands-on application development team lead.
2. Successful management of mid-volume ecommerce platform.
3. Successfully completed one or more web ecommerce projects of significant magnitude in terms of complexity, cost, time-constraints, resources, and equipment including hardware and software.
4. Five years experience with web interface design, web architecture design, ColdFusion, Oracle database, SQL database, HTML, CSS, web services, digital certificates, and domain registration required. Experience with load testing tools a plus.
5. Demonstrated ability to consult internally and recommend systems solutions. Proven interpersonal skills and excellent written communication skills are required.
6. B.S. Degree in Business or Information Systems Management and preferred.
